Welcome to the Mason Municipal Court

The Mason Municipal Court was established January 1, 1966, by the Ohio General Assembly. Prior to that time, Mason had a Mayor’s Court. The Mason Municipal Court presides over matters occurring within the City of Mason and Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio.

The Civil Division handles civil disputes not exceeding $15,000, small claim matters not exceeding $6,000, and evictions. The criminal division handles misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases, as well as preliminary hearings on felony charges.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to administer justice fairly, efficiently and impartially while protecting individual rights and upholding the rule of law. We want the residents of Mason and Deerfield Township to be safe from crime and have an open forum for resolving civil disputes. We are dedicated to providing accessible, courteous and transparent service to every person.
